Susana is a visual artist from El Salvador. Her passion for art started at a young age when she would watch her mother draw and paint. She carried the love of art throughout her life, much of her art is inspired by nature and her heritage . Most paintings and drawings are of portraits of family members. Her work has expanded into using art to promote health and wellness in communities. Susana has worked with many organizations in Houston such as Center for Performing Arts of Medicine, Art League Houston, pARTnerschools and many more to promote art and health. She is passionate about fusing her background in psychology and art to empower communities and individuals.
