Susana is a visual artist from El Salvador whose love for art began at a young age, inspired and influenced by women in her family, who used creativity to bring joy into their lives and celebrate everyday moments. Her art has always been a way to stay connected to her roots, express emotion, and celebrate her culture and the beauty of nature.
Her paintings and drawings often reflect themes of family, identity, and curiosities on combining imaginative elements with nature. Over the years, her creative path has evolved to include using art and health as a means to promote healing, self-expression, and wellness within the community.
Based in Houston, she has collaborated with organizations such as the Center for Performing Arts Medicine, Art League Houston, The Health Museum, and pARTnerschools and more to support in artistic projects.
With a background in art and psychology, Susana enjoys combining art and mental wellness to inspire growth, self-discovery, and resilience.
